Jonas Goodman
Jonas Goodman began his career in New York City as an executive in corporate public relations for Westinghouse Broadcasting. He moved to Los Angeles in 1983 and joined director/producer Alan Pakula (ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, SOPHIE'S CHOICE) at Paramount as a development executive.

From 1986 to 1992 he worked as a production executive and producer at Roven-Cavallo Entertainment (now Mosiac Media), a film production and music management firm. During his tenure there the company produced six feature films under term deals with Paramount, Tri-Star, Carolco and Warner Bros. (including: CADILLAC MAN w/ Robin Williams; JOHNNY HANDSOME w/ Mickey Rourke; FINAL ANALYSIS w/ Richard Gere).

In 1992 Goodman moved to the Pleskow-Spikings Partnership for two years. Among the projects there was John Boorman's BEYOND RANGOON (Patricia Arquette; Castle Rock/WB, '95). In 1995 he joined director Michael Radford (White Mischief, Il Postino) at Miramax.

In December 1996 Goodman established a producing partnership with Harvey Kahn at his Water Street Pictures. He and Kahn produced THE BREAK UP with Bridget Fonda and Kiefer Sutherland (Miramax '98). Goodman and Kahn produced OUT OF LINE, with Jennifer Beals, Holt McCallany and Michael Moriarty (Lion's Gate, 2001).

In 2004 Goodman and Kahn produced the adaptation of Andre Dubus' (In The Bedroom) WE DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE, adapted by Larry Gross (48 Hrs, True Crime, Chinese Box) and directed by John Curran (Praise). The film stars Naomi Watts, Mark Ruffalo, Peter Krause and Laura Dern.

WE DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE premiered at the Sundance Film Festival '04 where FSP made a distribution deal with Warner Independent Pictures and he script was given the award for Best screenplay.

Goodman and Kahn are currently casting Larry Gross' contemporary adaptation of Anton Chekhov's THE SEAGULL for Front Street which will star Jessica Lange and Jeremy Irons. Gross will direct in fall '08.

Goodman is also preparing a muti-media documentary and web venture about American Pop Culture entitled HIP: THE HISTORY w/ Oscar-winner Alex Gibney (Enron, Gonzo) and Plan B Entertainment.

Goodman and Kahn continue to be active in a broad range of film, television and new media projects under the Front Street Productions banner, based in Los Angeles and Vancouver.
