What if your daughter's nightmares bring a killer into your lives....?

Kim Shay lost her cop husband, Christian, a dozen years ago, is faced with reliving her husbands death through her eleven year old daughter, Sara's, nightmares. Sara nightmares start to become real when mysterious cuts appear after each incident.

Kim is forced to protect her daughter and the only way she can do this is search for the truth behind these puzzling and terrifying incidents.

Sara, who was not born at the time of her father's death, recalls details of the night of his death with alarming precision. Sara's dreams suggest that her father was not killed in the line of duty- but murdered!

With a chill down her spine, Kim goes to the police station to question, Matt Oberg, Christian's his former partner. Reluctantly, he agrees to help only to find out that the case files have been marked restricted. Not satisfied Kim decides to see the county corner, Dr. Robert Marquet, to question him about the handling of the original investigation only to hit another dead end.

Convinced the police may be involved in some sort of cover up Kim decides she must work alone or risk the same unfortunate fate as her husband. It is clear that Sara's dreams may hold the only clues to who was behind her father's murder. Using Sara's visions Kim embarks on the dangerous journey reliving the past to find the truth in the present.
