"Personal Effects", tells the story of Bonnie Locke, a lawyer in a small Oregon town whose life takes a sudden and dramatic turn when her brother disappears under questionable circumstances. No one knows where he might have gone, but Bonnie suspects his daughter, her niece, may also be in danger. At the same time, her path crosses with a young waitress in town who also needs Bonnie's help and protection. Believing she has found a friend, Bonnie lets down her guard, but as she starts to unravel the secrets to her brother's disappearance, she begins to understand her own life may be in danger and she is being double-crossed.
