Fearing a reprise of her own troubled teenage years, single parent Laura Cooper (Kelly Rutherford) is broken hearted over a growing rift with her increasingly rebellious teenage daughter, Samantha (Kirsten Prout). Things seem to come to a head when Samantha denies responsibility for stealing and wrecking Laura's car . But when Samantha starts acting even more strange, Laura starts to notice evidence that someone at her school may be terrorizing her daughter. Laura realizes that something else happened the night her car was wrecked. Samantha witnessed a horrible murder that night, and the person responsible wants to make sure she never speaks of it. It's up to Laura to convince her daughter to open up and trust her to get to the bottom of what happened and bring the teenagers responsible to justice.
